Werner Römisch-Margl

Dr. Werner Römisch-Margl serves as a Senior Scientist at the Computational Health Center / Institute of Computational Biology (ICB), Helmholtz Zentrum München since 2019. His research career spans over two decades in metabolomics and bioinformatics, with previous positions as Staff Scientist (2016-2019) and Junior Researcher Metabolomics (2007-2016) at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology. He completed his PhD in Chemistry at Technische Universität München.

His research focuses on metabolomics bioinformatics, metabolism, and webtool development, with specific expertise in metabolite repositories, ontologies platforms, laboratory information management systems, robotics, and mass spectrometry.
