Dr. Wenze Lan is a researcher at the Hybrid Quantum Systems group of Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany, where he studies the spin Hall effect of light and light-matter interactions in novel van der Waals crystals via confocal dark-field microscopy. He received his B.Sc. in Applied Physics from Central South University (2018) and earned his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2024), supervised by Prof. Dr. Baoli Liu.
