Wenye Hu is a Lecturer in the School of Architecture, Design and Planning at the University of Sydney. She holds an undergraduate degree in Illuminating Engineering from Fudan University (Shanghai) and has over a decade of professional lighting design experience, including designing stadium lighting for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Her research focuses on optimizing lighting systems for energy efficiency, visual comfort, and human-centric design principles. Current projects include enhancing road safety through improved pavement lighting and developing frameworks for holistic lighting application efficacy measurement.
