معرفی
Dr. Wenxin Mao is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge's Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, affiliated with the Optoelectronic Materials and Device Spectroscopy Group (StranksLab). Their research focuses on developing high-yield methods for crystalline semiconducting materials, including halide perovskites and layered 2D materials like transition metal dichalcogenides, while investigating heterostructures through light-to-lattice interactions.
Research interests include structural modifications linked to optoelectronic/photonic properties using advanced microscopy techniques (widefield/confocal fluorescence, FLIM, Raman) and fabricating devices such as LEDs, infrared detectors, X-ray imagers, and photonic switches. Current work explores crystallographic and optoelectronic relationships in emerging materials.
Scientific Awards:
- Royal Society Newton International Fellowship
