Professor Wenhui Duan is a Professor in Structural Engineering and Director of the ARC Nanocomm Hub at Monash University's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research bridges materials science and civil engineering, focusing on nanocomposites, smart materials, and sustainable construction materials. He holds a PhD from the National University of Singapore and has held roles at Tianjin University and postdoctoral positions in Singapore and Canada before joining Monash in 2008.

His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing sustainable infrastructure and environmental resilience.
Recent projects include the ARC Nanocomm Hub for advanced construction materials, 3D Concrete Printing Facility development, and floating forest breakwater designs for coastal protection. He contributes to courses like CIV4210 and CIV4211, advancing engineering education.
