Wendy Wilson-Fall

Wendy Wilson-Fall is an Associate Professor and Director of the Africana Studies Program at Lafayette College. She previously served as Chair of Pan African Studies at Kent State University and Director of the West African Research Center (Dakar, 1999–2004). Her research focuses on identity, culture, local histories, and social space, spanning both African diaspora and continental contexts.

Dr. Wilson-Fall holds a Ph.D. from Howard University. Her academic journey includes extensive engagement with pastoralist societies in the Sahel, ethnic ideologies among Amazigh communities, and the intersection of slavery and cultural memory in the Black Atlantic.
