Wendy Warren is Associate Professor of History at Princeton University, specializing in colonial North America, the Atlantic World, and comparative slavery. She authored New England Bound: Slavery and Colonization in Early America (2016), which won the Merle Curti Social History Prize and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Her current research examines prisons in the 17th–18th centuries.
