Wendy J. Muchman is a Teaching Professor at Northwestern University's Pritzker School of Law, specializing in Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility. She has been a faculty member since 2000, teaching courses such as Legal Ethics for Business Lawyers, AI and Technology Ethics, and The Law of Whistleblowing. Prior to her academic career, she served as Chief of Litigation and Professional Education at the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission from 1989 to 2019, where she investigated and prosecuted lawyer disciplinary cases.

Ms. Muchman has received multiple teaching awards, including the prestigious Robert Childres Award (2019-2020) and the Adjunct Professor of the Year award (2013-2014). She has held leadership roles in the National Organization of Bar Counsel, the American Bar Association's Government and Public Lawyers Division, and the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Professional Responsibility.
