Wendy Garewal

Wendy Garewal is a Professor of Legal Writing and Academic Director of the Legal Writing and Research Program at the University of San Diego School of Law. She holds a JD from the University of Southern California (2001) and MA and BA degrees from Stanford University (1998). Her expertise focuses on legal research and writing.

Garewal previously practiced law at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps in San Diego, advising developers on real estate and regulatory matters. She joined USD School of Law in 2009 and currently teaches legal writing and research courses.

She is affiliated with the Legal Writing Institute and served on the Southern California Law Review. Her honors include membership in the prestigious Order of the Coif, recognizing excellence in legal education.
