Wendy Brown is a distinguished political theorist and Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Her work critically examines formations of power, political identity, citizenship, and political subjectivity in contemporary liberal democracies, with recent focus on neoliberalism and anti-democratic politics.
Education includes a PhD in Political Philosophy from Princeton University. Her career includes positions at UC Santa Cruz and Williams College before joining Berkeley in 1999.
