Wen Zhong is an Assistant Professor and Docent at Linköping University, affiliated with the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (BKV) within the Division of Cell and Neurobiology. Her research focuses on multi-omics integration, genetics-phenotype interplay, and data-driven strategies for precision medicine. She leads a research group supported by the SciLifeLab-Wallenberg DDLS Program, aiming to develop AI-based tools for molecular diagnostics and patient stratification.
Her work includes collaborative projects like the Human Protein Atlas, contributing to brain disorder research and therapeutic strategies. Key affiliations include SciLifeLab Linköping and the Wallenberg Centre for Molecular Medicine. Over 20 publications span topics such as Alzheimer's disease, preterm infant proteomics, and neuropeptide profiling in the prefrontal cortex. Her research bridges bioinformatics, systems biology, and clinical applications, with a focus on translating molecular data into precision medicine solutions.
Recent articles emphasize multi-omics integration for tissue mapping, neurodegenerative mechanisms, and pediatric health. Her lab utilizes advanced platforms like the Berzelius supercomputer for data-driven analyses. Future work aims to expand molecular health networks and AI-driven decision support systems in precision medicine.
