معرفی
Antonio Lentini is an Assistant Professor and Wallenberg & SciLifeLab DDLS Fellow in Precision Medicine at Linköping University, where he leads a research group in the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (BKV), Division of Cell and Neurobiology (CNB). He is affiliated with SciLifeLab Linköping, a national research infrastructure supporting life sciences and data-driven research.
His research focuses on understanding tumour evolution, particularly how subclones in cancer acquire mutations that drive growth and resistance to therapy. He employs advanced single-cell methodologies and computational approaches to unravel epigenetic and molecular mechanisms, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets to improve long-term survival in cancer patients.
Lentini contributed to a significant discovery revealing a major flaw in a widely used epigenetics research method, published in Nature Methods in 2018. Though no recent publications are listed in the provided texts, his work spans precision medicine, cancer genomics, and epigenetic regulation.

As a group leader, Lentini mentors research within his lab, focusing on tumour heterogeneity and epigenetic control. His work is supported by national fellowships and infrastructure through SciLifeLab. He collaborates within interdisciplinary networks in life sciences and medicine.
His lab is embedded within the Division of Cell and Neurobiology at Linköping University, contributing to a vibrant research environment focused on molecular mechanisms in disease.
