Dr Wen Shi is a Research Associate at the Department of Public Health and Primary Care, University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit (CEU). She holds a bachelor’s in Preventive Medicine from Fudan University, a master’s in Data Science for Health and Biomedicine from University College London, and a PhD in Health Informatics from the University of St Andrews.

She works extensively with population-wide healthcare data, collaborating with Prof. Angela Wood’s research group since February 2023.
Current affiliations include the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit (CEU) at Cambridge, where she contributes to projects like the 1M+ Hearts Project and Genomics of CVDs. Her work spans clinical epidemiology, health data science, and global health initiatives.
