Dr Genevieve Cezard serves as a Senior Research Associate in health data science at the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit within the University of Cambridge's Department of Public Health and Primary Care. Her work focuses on leveraging large-scale health datasets to investigate complex disease relationships.
Her research expertise spans health data science methodologies applied to cardiovascular epidemiology and population health studies. Current work examines diabetes progression and multimorbidity patterns across Scottish, English, and Welsh populations using national health records. Methodologically, she specializes in statistical analysis of longitudinal health data and risk prediction modeling for chronic conditions.
Dr Cezard holds the HDR UK Big Data for Complex Disease fellowship awarded in 2024, supporting her investigation into diabetes and multimorbidity development. Previous professional experience includes statistician roles with health agencies and private sector organizations in France and Canada.
