Wen Liu

Wen Liu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science, and Athletic Training at the University of Kansas Medical Center. His work bridges biomedical engineering and clinical rehabilitation, focusing on sensorimotor control and therapeutic interventions for motor impairments.

• Mechanisms of human sensorimotor control and disorders
• Stroke rehabilitation and postural control in neurological diseases
• Sports injury rehabilitation and ankle joint instability
• Quantitative evaluation of complementary medicine (acupuncture, qigong) in cancer and neurological patients
• Development of sensory-enhanced and robot-aided training methodologies
