Wen Huang

Wen Huang is an Associate Researcher (Principal Investigator) at the Institute for Quantum Science and Engineering (IQSE), Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). He leads a theory group dedicated to condensed-matter quantum physics.

Research Interests

Dr Huang’s research lies at the intersection of topological quantum matter, unconventional superconductivity, and quantum many-body theory. He applies quantum-geometric concepts to elucidate exotic pairing mechanisms in strongly correlated systems, with a special emphasis on the enigmatic superconductor Sr₂RuO₄, kagome metals, and flat-band materials. His recent work explores pair-density-wave order, chiral and nematic superconductivity, anomalous Hall responses in superconductors, and higher-order topological superconductivity.

Leadership, Grants & Team

Since April 2019, Dr Huang has been a Principal Investigator at IQSE/SUSTech, where he builds and mentors a growing team of post-doctoral researchers. He actively advertises post-doctoral positions offering competitive salaries (RMB 335 k–415 k annually) and rich international collaboration opportunities.
