معرفی
Weining Wang is an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Physics at Seton Hall University. Their research focuses on renewable energy and photovoltaic technologies, particularly heterojunction solar cells and optoelectronic device applications. Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. from Syracuse University and a B.S. from Nankai University.
Education:
- Ph.D., Syracuse University
- B.S., Nankai University
Research Interests: Dr. Wang’s work explores organic/inorganic heterojunctions in solar cells, including CdTe thin films and conducting polymer interfaces. Their studies aim to enhance device efficiency through material optimization and interface engineering. Key areas include photoactive layer design, work function modulation, and thin film deposition techniques.
Grants & Awards:
- Faculty Researcher of the Year Award Research Grant (Seton Hall University, 2016–2017)
- Work Function Dependence of Barrier Height Research (Research Corporation for Science Advancement, $35,000, 2014–2017)
Advising & Collaboration: Dr. Wang has collaborated on projects like the Clare Boothe Luce Foundation-funded CdTe solar cell simulations. Their research spans experimental and theoretical analyses of photovoltaic materials and device performance.
