Weiguo Fan is a Professor and the Henry B. Tippie Excellence Chair in Business Analytics at the Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa, where he also serves as Faculty Director of the Tippie Analytics Cooperative. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Michigan and has built a distinguished career in business analytics, AI, and data science. Previously, he was a professor at Virginia Tech, where he co-founded the Center for Business Intelligence and Analytics.
