Dr. Wei Yang is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Strategy at the University of Glasgow's Adam Smith Business School, where she is part of the Strategy and Technology Management research cluster. Previously, she held academic positions at Nankai University and China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in China, with visiting appointments at Columbia University Business School and the Centre for International Business at the University of Leeds (CIBUL).
Her educational background includes BA and MA degrees from Beijing Normal University and a PhD in International Management from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg in Germany. Prior to academia, she worked as a management consultant at Towers Perrin in Beijing.
