Wei Jiang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas at Arlington, with affiliations in the Division of Data Science and Center for Innovation in Health Informatics. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronic and Computer Engineering from HKUST and a B.Eng. from Tsinghua University with minors in mathematics and physics.
His research develops dependable data science methods for biomedical applications, focusing on statistical inference, machine learning, and multi-omics data analysis. Core interests include enhancing method reliability through resilience and interpretability frameworks.
Publication analysis reveals consistent focus on genomic prediction methods, genetic architecture modeling, and scalable algorithms for high-dimensional biological data. Recent work advances polygenic risk score methodologies.
