Wayne Steward

Wayne Steward, PhD, MPH, BA, is a Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. His research focuses on optimizing HIV care systems, reducing stigma, and improving healthcare access globally. He has led projects on health information technology, patient-centered medical homes, and stigma reduction in India and South Africa. Key collaborations include work with the HRSA SPNS initiative and UCSF's Global Health Equity programs. Steward's expertise spans HIV policy, implementation science, and global health equity, with a commitment to addressing disparities in underserved populations.
