Professor Wayne Courtney is a Professor and Vice Dean in the Faculty of Law at the National University of Singapore. Previously, he served as an Associate Professor and Associate Dean at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Law. He has held visiting roles, including the Herbert Smith Freehills Visitor at the University of Cambridge and the Cheng Yu Tung Visiting Professor at The University of Hong Kong. His expertise lies in contract law, commercial law, and private law, with his scholarship cited by high courts globally, including Australia's High Court, Canada's Supreme Court, and the UK Supreme Court.
