Wayne Chang

Wayne Chang is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a position he has held since 2023. Previously, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering from 2019 to 2023. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, Irvine (2011).

He teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, including Intro to Aerospace Engineering, Mechanics of Aerospace Structures, Aerospace Dynamical Systems, Autonomous Systems Lab, and courses in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical design.
