Dr. Wayes Tushar is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Queensland (UQ). Previously, he held roles at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), including Research Scientist at the SUTD-MIT International Design Centre (IDC) and Postdoctoral Research Fellow. He earned his B.Sc. from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2007) and Ph.D. from Australian National University (2013). His research focuses on smart grid technologies, energy management systems, renewable energy integration, and game-theoretic approaches for energy markets.

Research Interests: Peer-to-peer energy trading, storage management, smart grid optimization, transactive energy systems, and applications of game theory and design thinking in energy systems.
