Wassim Tarraf is Professor at Wayne State University's Institute of Gerontology and Department of Healthcare Sciences. His research examines health disparities, neurocognitive aging, and statistical methods in diverse populations, with extensive involvement in NIH-funded studies including the Hispanic Community Health Study.
Education includes: Ph.D. and MBA from Wayne State University, B.S. from Lebanese American University, with additional training in biostatistics at University of Washington and quantitative methods at University of Michigan.
Research focuses on racial/ethnic disparities in cognitive aging, cardiovascular health, and neuroimaging biomarkers. He directs analytics for the SOL-INCA Lab and co-leads research cores for multiple NIA-funded centers.
