Warren S. Moore, III

Warren S. Moore, III is a Professor of English at Newberry College, where he has taught since 2003. He holds a Ph.D. in Medieval Studies from Ball State University (2002), an M.A. from the University of Kentucky (1992), and a B.A. from Excelsior College (1987). His doctoral research examined the Seven Deadly Sins in pre-Shakespearean English morality plays.

Professor Moore's research spans medieval literature, Chaucer studies, and dramatic literature. He maintains active scholarly contributions through the New Chaucer Society's annual bibliography and frequent conference presentations. Additionally, he pursues creative work as a published novelist and musician.
