Waqqas Afif

Waqqas Afif, MD, M.Sc., FRCPC, is an Investigator at the RI-MUHC (Montreal General Hospital site) within the Infectious Diseases and Immunity in Global Health Program. He holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at McGill University, and is affiliated with the Division of Gastroenterology at the MUHC.

His research focuses on the safety and efficacy of biologic medications in treating Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), with a specific emphasis on Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) to optimize patient outcomes. Key areas include
