Wanita Scroggs serves as the International Law Librarian and Instructor in Law at the Dolly and Homer Hand Law Library of Stetson University College of Law. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Texas A&M University, a J.D. from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, and a Master’s in Information Science from the University of South Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar.
Her research and professional interests focus on legal research methodologies, international law resources, and information science applications in legal contexts. She co-authored Free Internet Legal Research (Vandeplas Publishing) and A Lawyer’s Guide to Florida Legal Research (forthcoming). Her teaching includes advanced legal research courses covering domestic U.S. and international law.
Scroggs’ contributions extend to law library administration and legal education. She actively participates in scholarly publishing, emphasizing accessible legal research tools for practitioners.
