Wang Yan

Dr. Yan Wang is an Associate Professor at the George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health, Department of Prevention and Community Health. Previously, she served as an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine. Her expertise spans epidemiology, prevention interventions for health risks, and advanced statistical methodologies in public health research.

Research Focus:

• Epidemiology and intervention of risky health behaviors (tobacco use, obesity, HIV, etc.)
• Statistical methodologies: SEM, causal inference (RCT design, propensity score analysis), and longitudinal modeling
