Wang Tianyu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Imperial College London, a Master's degree in Econometrics from Tilburg University, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Zhejiang University.

His academic work examines market efficiency, government bond trading dynamics, and currency mispricing mechanisms. He has received multiple best paper awards and research grants, including the prestigious PwC 3535 Finance/Accounting Annual Best Paper Award and INQUIRE EUROPE Research Grant.
