Walter Huddell is a Professor of Mathematics at Eastern University, where he has taught since 2000. He serves as the Mathematics and Pre-Engineering Program Director and teaches the Harmonia course in the Templeton Honors College. His research spans functional analysis, ill-posed problems, and philosophical inquiries into mathematical ontology and theology.

His publications appear in journals like The Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications and Christian Scholars Review, as well as the book Computational Approaches in Advancing Modern Science and Engineering.
Outside academia, he enjoys running, cycling, and teaching Bible school. He is married to Alicyn and father to twin daughters Amy and Amber.
