Walt Hunter is Professor and Chair of the English Department at Case Western Reserve University. He specializes in 20th- and 21st-century literature, exploring how poets address social and political issues through innovative forms of expression.
Professor Hunter's research examines poetic responses to globalization, housing, and social inequality. His work bridges literary analysis with political theory, investigating how poetic forms embody historical and social transformations. Current projects analyze the relationship between lyric poetry and contemporary social movements.
