Dr. Michael Aderibigbe is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi, located in Hattiesburg. He holds a PhD from Florida State University (2022) and an MFA from Boston University (2017). His work focuses on Poetry Writing, Hybrid Genres, Creative Nonfiction, and Black Studies, with notable contributions to African and African-American literary traditions.
His debut poetry collection, *How the End First Showed* (University of Wisconsin Press, 2018), won the Brittingham Prize in Poetry and a Florida Book Award.
