Walid KLIBI is Professor of Supply Chain and Operations Management at Kedge Business School in France, where he has been teaching since 2011. He is a member of the Center of Excellence in Supply Chain (CESIT) at Kedge Business School, which he directed between 2015 and 2019. He also holds affiliations as a researcher at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics and at the Africa Business School - UM6P.
His research focuses on Supply Chain Design, Resilience, Omnichannel Distribution and Urban Logistics, with extensive collaboration with international companies including Sephora, ID Logistics, Groupe La Poste, Johnson & Johnson, Airbus Atlantic, and Sanofi. His scholarly work spans numerous high-impact journals in operations research and supply chain management.
Prof. KLIBI's publications demonstrate a consistent trajectory toward addressing contemporary challenges in supply chain networks, particularly in urban logistics, resilience planning, and omnichannel distribution systems. His recent work increasingly integrates financial considerations with operational decisions, reflecting a growing trend in supply chain scholarship that bridges traditional operational concerns with strategic financial implications.
He has designed and directed courses in statistics, optimization, supply chain design and planning, distribution networks, and urban logistics. His teaching spans the ISLI master's programs, the Grande Ecole Program (Supply Chain and Entrepreneurship Tracks), and the MBA program at Kedge Business School, as well as collaborations with partner institutions across Europe and Africa.
