Dr. Waldo Fabian Garrido is a Senior Lecturer at Western Sydney University's School of Humanities & Communication Arts, where he bridges academic research with creative music practice. Holding a PhD in Contemporary Music Studies from Macquarie University and a Master of Design Science from the University of Sydney, his work spans Latin music, jazz, world music, and electronic production.
