Walaa Abu-Taleb

Walaa Abu-Taleb is Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy and Admissions Lead at London Metropolitan University's School of Human Sciences. With a clinical background spanning musculoskeletal, neurological, and women's health physiotherapy across international settings, her research examines assessment techniques and rehabilitation efficacy.

Current PhD work focuses on cervical spine disorders, complementing publications on myofascial trigger point therapy and occupational health in physiotherapy. Teaching includes Physiotherapy Theory/Practice modules and Evidence-Based Practice courses.

As Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA), she develops pedagogical strategies enhancing practical skill acquisition. Professional service includes CSP membership and clinical workshops.
