Dr. Wail Gourich is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Monash University Malaysia, affiliated with the Malaysia School of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. (2025) and Bachelor's (2021) in Chemical Engineering from Monash University Malaysia. His research focuses on sustainable processes, including oils/fats processing for food/fuel, biocatalysis, and life cycle assessment. He leads the Monash-Industry Plant Oils Research Laboratory (MIPO), emphasizing renewable energy and enzymatic technologies.
