Professor Róża WILCZAK is a distinguished violist and educator affiliated with the Gi. K. Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, where she currently leads her own viola class. She previously served as an assistant professor at the same institution from 1999 to 2009. Her academic journey includes studies at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart under Professor Herman Voss, supported by a KAAD scholarship (1996–1998), and training at the International Music Courses in Łańcut and Stuttgart with Professor Jerzy Kosmala.
She specializes in viola performance, chamber music, and instrumental pedagogy. Her performance career spans collaborations with renowned ensembles like Arcos and Orfeus string quartets, as well as orchestras such as Pro Musica and Polish Camerata across Poland, Germany, and the Netherlands. She has contributed to CD, radio, and television recordings and performed with the A. Rubinstein Philharmonic in Łódź.
