Víctor Mondelo Visuña

Víctor Mondelo Visuña serves as an Interim Part-Time Lecturer (6 hours) in the Department of Computer Science at the School of Computer Engineering, University of Vigo, with his academic base at the Ourense campus. He is actively affiliated with the LIA2 Applied Artificial Intelligence Laboratory research group.

His doctoral training culminated in a 2019 University of Vigo dissertation titled System for supporting the diagnosis of electrocardiograms, supervised by Dr. Arturo José Méndez Penín and Dra. María José Lado Touriño. This foundational work established his trajectory in medical AI applications.

Research interests center on artificial intelligence solutions for healthcare challenges, particularly:
