معرفی
Václav Janiš is a Senior Scientist at the Theory Group of the Department of Dielectrics, Institute of Physics, Czech Academy of Sciences, and a Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague. His research bridges condensed matter theory, quantum coherence, and spin glasses.
Research Interests:
- Strongly correlated electrons (Hubbard/Anderson models)
- Quantum phase transitions in itinerant systems
- Anderson localization and transport in disordered systems
- Spin-glass theory with real replicas
- Field-theoretic and diagrammatic methods
- Superconducting nanostructures
Publications Overview: His work spans 1986-2011, focusing on parquet equations for two-particle vertices, renormalized perturbation theories, Kondo effects, and replica-symmetry breaking in spin glasses. Key themes include quantum criticality, non-Fermi liquid behavior, and thermodynamic homogeneity in glassy phases.
