معرفی
Vorotyntsev Mikhail A. is a leading electrochemist and theoretical physicist who simultaneously serves as Senior Researcher at the Chemical Faculty of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Research Professor at the Institute for Problems of Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Directeur de Recherche Émérite at the Institut de Chimie Moléculaire de l’Université de Bourgogne (ICMUB – UMR 6302 CNRS) in Dijon, France. Over a career that began in 1972, he has held professorial or research-professor positions at the University of Fukui (Japan), Université Pierre et Marie Curie (France), CEA-Grenoble (France), and Universität Freiburg (Germany).
Research Interests
Vorotyntsev’s work integrates fundamental theory with advanced materials engineering. His core interests include:
- Electron and proton transfer theory at molecular and solid-state interfaces.
- Mixed electronic-ionic transport in polymers and nanocomposites.
- Structure and dynamics of electrified interfaces, including ionic adsorption and impedance phenomena.
- Convective diffusion under turbulent flow conditions.
- Design, synthesis and application of functionalized electron-conducting polymer films.
- Development of porphine-based electroactive polymers and polymer/inorganic nanocomposites for catalysis and chemical sensing.
- Experimental and theoretical study of diffusion in highly viscous ionic liquids.
- Advanced electrochemical flow-cell technologies.
