Vongayi Majoni

Vongayi Majoni is an Associate Nursing Lecturer in the Faculty of Health at Charles Darwin University, with over 20 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse, specializing in cardiac nursing and diabetes education. She is nearing completion of her PhD at the Menzies School of Health Research, supervised by Professor Alan Cass and Dr. Sharon Chirgwin, focusing on the wellbeing of relocated dialysis First Nations women with End-stage Kidney Disease. Her work contributes to the broader Dialysis Model of Care project, which assesses dialysis delivery costs and outcomes.

Her 2020 publication in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health systematically reviews training programs for health professionals delivering brief interventions tailored to Indigenous clients, emphasizing implementation barriers and solutions.
