Assoc. Prof. Volker Munz is affiliated with the Institute of Philosophy at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. His research focuses on Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Language, and 20th Century Analytic Philosophy, with particular emphasis on Ludwig Wittgenstein's works. He has conducted significant projects including "In the beginning was the deed" (2015–2016) and explored Wittgenstein's Whewell's Court Lectures (2009–2015). Consultation hours are available by appointment.
Research interests revolve around language-action relationships, philosophical methodology, and Wittgensteinian themes. His work bridges analytic and continental traditions, addressing core issues in linguistic meaning and mental phenomena. Recent projects reflect sustained engagement with Wittgenstein's legacy and contemporary applications of his ideas.
