Vlasios Vlasidis is a Professor at the Department of Balkan, Slavic & Oriental Studies at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece. His academic career spans several decades with a focus on Balkan history, particularly the Macedonian Front during World War I, media studies, and political communication in the Balkan region. He maintains an active research profile with numerous publications and academic contributions, including 27 books, 12 journal articles, and 29 conference presentations.
