Vladimir Atanasov is a Group Leader at the Institute of Chemical Engineering, University of Stuttgart, specializing in polymer and membrane technology. He holds a Dr. rer. nat. in polymer chemistry from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research. His research focuses on advanced materials for fuel cells, proton-conductive polymers, and renewable energy storage systems.
Education includes a PhD from Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (2003), postdoctoral work at Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research (2010) and Mainz (2007–2010), and degrees from Sofia University, Bulgaria.
