Vivian Ho, Ph.D. is a Professor at both Baylor College of Medicine and Rice University, holding the James A. Baker III Chair in Health Economics at the latter. Her work focuses on economic incentives in healthcare, market dynamics, and cost containment strategies.

Her research addresses healthcare cost drivers, hospital market behaviors, and emergency department cost control. She has served on numerous national review panels and editorial boards, including the American Journal of Health Economics and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality committees.
