Vittorio Verda is a Full Professor in the Department of Energy (DENERG) at Polytechnic University of Turin. He serves as Academic Advisor for Energy Engineering programs, Partnership Agreement Coordinator with IREN, and Spoke leader for research and innovation activities. His work focuses on district heating, energy optimization, and energy systems within the Thermal Engineering and Industrial Energy Systems discipline.

As a member of the Interdepartmental Center Ec-L - Energy Center Lab and the Research Group M3ES (DENERG), Verda leads research teams working on cutting-edge energy solutions. His current projects include DHC Academy for Green and Digital Skills in District Heating, PUSH-CCC for large-scale energy storage, and THUMBS-UP for thermal energy storage solutions in buildings.
