Vito Mocella serves as Research Director and member of the General Scientific Council at Italy's National Research Council (CNR), specifically within the Institute of Applied Sciences and Intelligent Systems. He is also a LINXS Fellow specializing in Heritage Science and serves on Working Group 5 focused on Visualisation within the LINXS collaboration between Lund University and MAX IV Laboratory.
His research integrates advanced scientific methodologies with cultural heritage preservation, emphasizing neutron and X-ray scattering techniques coupled with specialized visualisation approaches.
