Vitaly Ford is an Associate Professor and Computer Science Program Coordinator in the Computer Science and Mathematics Department at Arcadia University's College of Arts and Sciences. He joined Arcadia in Fall 2017 after completing his PhD in Computer Science (Cybersecurity) at Tennessee Tech University.
Dr. Ford's research focuses on practical cybersecurity applications with emphasis on Internet of Things security, privacy preservation, machine learning applications in security, and innovative cybersecurity education methods. His work bridges theoretical security concepts with real-world implementation through projects like GenCyberCoin and CTF Unplugged.

His teaching portfolio includes foundational computer science courses alongside specialized security courses such as Network Security and Introduction to Practical Security Assessment (pentesting).
