Professor Virginia Popovic is a leading scholar in Romanian literature and diaspora studies at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Romanian Language and Literature. With a PhD in Literary Sciences (2012) and MA (2009), she has taught Romanian literature courses (1-8) and directed master's programs since 2000. Her work focuses on Romanian cultural heritage preservation, diaspora literary production, and ethnolinguistic identity in Voivodina.
